About UpTo

We’re a small international team based in the Netherlands, brought together by the same frustration many students face — not knowing where to go, what’s happening nearby, or how to meet like-minded people. That’s why we built UpTo: to transform the way young people discover local events and help organizers like you reach an audience that’s genuinely excited to attend. We’re building what we wish we had, and we’d love for you to be part of it.

How do I join an event?

To join an event, open the event information screen and tap “Going”. If the event is free, your ticket will be generated automatically and stored in your profile. If the event requires payment, you will be taken to the ticket purchase flow, where you can complete your order directly in the app. Once completed, your ticket will be available in your profile for easy access.

How do tickets work?

Tickets can be purchased securely within the app using Stripe as our payment provider. After completing your purchase, your ticket will be automatically saved in your profile, allowing you to access it at any time. You don’t need to print anything — just show your ticket from your phone when attending the event.

How do I create an event?

Creating an event is simple. Go to the creation event screen. From there, you can add all the relevant details such as title, description, location, date, and ticket options. Once published, your event becomes visible to the community and users can start joining immediately.

I have an issue with a payment

If you experience any issue related to a payment, such as being charged incorrectly or not receiving your ticket, please contact us at contact@upptoapp.com. Make sure to include as much detail as possible so our team can investigate and resolve the issue quickly.

How do I report a bug or technical issue?

If you encounter any bug or technical issue while using the app, please send us an email with a clear description of the problem. If possible, include screenshots or screen recordings. This helps our team identify the issue faster and improve your experience.

Is my data secure?

We take user privacy seriously. UpTo only collects the minimum data necessary to provide the service, such as your email for account creation and communication. Your data is stored securely and is never sold to third parties.
